Yeeeeees, Liza is being introspective.  And if I hear any more snickering about it from the peanut gallery, I'll tell her where to find you guys.

Although Liza isn't usually one to spend a lot of time second guessing herself, she is well aware of her limitations, and the fact that they can get her in trouble sometimes.  She once said, "We really need to come up with a plan.  Eh, it's not my thing, I'll leave it to you, Flandre."

If you're wondering what happened to Liza's brother, it's in the first episode of the anime and the first volume of the manga, and that's all I'm going to say.  I hope I've been able to strike a balance between not giving spoilers and explaining enough to follow easily.  Technically speaking, just the fact that Liza and Reiri wind up being friends with Hime and living in her mansion and even the fact that Reiri's a vampire are spoilers since they're both initially introduced as antagonists.  But well, the anime's OP pretty well gives that away, as you can see for yourself:  www.youtube.com/watch?v=btQVE5…

I had a lot of trouble getting Liza's expressions just right on this page, particularly in panel 2.  There's a fine line between unhappy and uncertain on one hand and dejected and depressed on the other.  Apparently, I have trouble finding it.
