Reiri and Tsubomi had a really cool Dad - he didn't mind getting roped into tea parties, playing house, giving pony rides, etc.

And here we have the first iteration of Reiri's little lambs.  Although these two didn't need to donate any blood.  Which is probably a good thing for everyone involved.

There's a bunch of cameos and shout outs in this one.  Attendees at Reiri's tea party include Vox from 's webcomic Fallen, 's red herring author avatar, And Maya from 's webcomic Redemption.  Reiri's little lambs are Excel and Hyatt from Excel Saga.  What?  You didn't think Lord Il Palazzo would hire people without prior minion experience, did you?

This is the first time I've tried drawing kids - I hope they came out looking about the right relative ages.  I do kind of feel like ickle Tsubomi came out extra adorable.  I hope that's not just me.

And I have to say, I love traditional Japanese rooms.  All those nice straight lines and right angles and regular grids... I can make a cool looking background with minimal effort.  If I knew how to code, I could probably write an algorithm to generate these rooms automatically.
